The Pink Caravan arrived in Skopje

The professional lectures on the topic of fight against malignant diseases continued in Skopje. The citizens had the opportunity to learn the techniques of breast self-examination and were informed about the latest achievements in the diagnosis and method of treatment. Special emphasis was placed on the prevention of malignant diseases and risk factors which are the main causes for common occurrence of these diseases.

The Pink Caravan in Skopje was dedicated to malignant diseases in female and male population. Dr. Daniel Petrovski who is a surgeon urologist, lectured on the basic examination which every man should do. The possibilities for diagnosis and their specifications were explained by Dr. Maja Chapova Stojchevska, who is an experienced radiologist at “Acibadem Sistina” Hospital. The representative of the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy at “Acibadem Sistina” Dr. Deva Petrova, implied that the success of treatment depends on the stage at which the disease is detected and once more pointed out to citizens to regularly have control examinations.
