The selflessness and sacrifice of the Hospital’s medical and support staff was once again demonstrated during the coronavirus pandemic. Today, 40 employees of Acibadem Sistina Hospital donated blood at the seventh blood donation action.

As with the previous donations, all measures and security protocols for complete protection against SARS-CoV-2 virus were followed. In order to maintain social distance, blood donors were divided into several groups and were required to wear personal protective equipment.

The blood donation action was organized by the employees of Acibadem Sistina and the Institute of Transfusion Medicine in coordination with the municipal organization of the Red Cross – Karposh.

Due to the increased blood needs during the coronavirus pandemic, Acibadem Sistina Hospital announces more blood donations to be carried out until the end of the year. More than 450 units of blood have been donated at Acibadem Sistina Hospital including today’s blood donation.
