In the period from April 27-29, Belgrade hosted the 7^th Congress of SOTA (Serbian Orthopedic Trauma Association) with international participation, the 2^nd Congress of Serbian Society for Hand Surgery, and the 2^nd Congress of Serbian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery.

Prof. Jordan Saveski and D-r. Neda Trajkovska specialists in traumatology, participated at the Congress as invited lecturers from “Acibadem Sistina Hospital”. They presented the achievements of the hospital and the surgical team on topic: “Surgical treatment of Combined Acetabulum and Pelvic Fractures, Surgical Treatment of Spinopelvic Disruption, and Surgical treatment of Osteoporotic Spinal Fractures”.

Prof. Saveski, as an honorary member of SOTA and a participant at all congresses of SOTA so far, had the honor to open this year’s Congress. In his speech, he desired to have sharp, constructive, and productive discussions and clear conclusions among the participants, in the interest of treatment and care improvement for the patients. The present lecturers and moderators of the scientific sessions managed to achieve this with their expertise in traumatology and orthopedics, exchanging experiences from their clinical practice.
