Rapid evacuation of patients, visitors and staff, providing first aid and protection against additional fires in the event of an earthquake were the challenges that the “Acibadem Sistina” team successfully responded to. More than 150 hospital employees participated in today’s simulation exercise, the tenth in a row, when the team preparedness in case of a natural disaster was assessed. The complex exercise was realized in cooperation with the Directorate for Protection and Rescue and the Fire Protection Brigade of the City of Skopje that took an active part in dealing with the consequences of earthquake and fire with their own teams and equipment.
