On the occasion of April 7, the World Health Day, an online expert meeting on the topic “A New Era of the Old Diseases – Syphilis” was held at Acibadem Sistina Hospital. The purpose of the expert meeting was to raise awareness about this disease, indicating an increasing trend in the country.

The meeting was opened by Prof. Igor Kaftandjiev, MD, the medical director of the Hospital, as well as Prof. Andrej Petrov, MD, the head of the Department of Dermatovenerology who is also the president of the Association of Dermatovenerologists of Macedonia.
