The third blood donation this year was successfully realized in the premises of the Clinical Hospital “Acibadem Sistina”, in which 74 new units of blood were donated. The blood donation was carried out in cooperation with the Red Cross – Karposh municipal organization and the Institute of Transfusion Medicine. Through this activity, the employees once again showed their humanity, generosity and solidarity. “The feeling that you have saved someone’s life, which is well known to anyone who has donated blood, is invaluable, and that is actually the main reason why we take part on regular basis in large numbers,” blood donors explain. The blood donation was carried out in compliance with all protocols and safety measures for complete protection against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Blood donors were divided into several groups in order to maintain physical distance and were required to wear personal protection. Due to the great interest and response by the employees, another blood donation is scheduled, which will take place on August 20, 2021.
