NURSES FROM ACIBADEM SISTINA HOSPITAL GAVE LECTURES AT THE XV ASSOCIATION OF ANAESTHETISTS, RESUSCITATIONISTS AND TRANSFUSIONISTS OF SERBIA

The XV Congress of the Association of Anaesthesiologists, Resuscitationists and Transfusionists of Serbia was held in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, on October 17 and 18, 2025. The Macedonian Society of Nurses of Anaesthesia, Reanimation and Intensive Care (MSNARIC) took participation as well with some of its members as lecturers, and whose Management Board members are the head nurse of the anaesthesia department, Marina Nikoloska, and the nurse for education and training Androniki Bibovska.

Androniki Bibovska, Bachelor of Nursing and Specialist Anaesthetist, gave a lecture on the topic "Simulation Trainings for Disaster Management", while Gabriela Kitevska, Bachelor of Nursing and head nurse at the Emergency Centre, as well as Ilinka Mateska-Maksimoska, Bachelor of Nursing and nurse at the Emergency Centre, were also present on the congress as attendees.

After the lecture, a discussion on the preparedness of the medical staff at the Acibadem Sistina Hospital developed in terms of tackling natural disasters and the method of conducting training for emergency and unpredictable situations. The attendees were introduced to the functioning of emergency teams, the hierarchical structure and the importance of regular exercises to maintain the readiness of the staff at the highest level.

The participants had the opportunity to attend educational workshops within the congress, which enabled practical demonstrations and exchange of experiences between the participants and the lecturers.

Acibadem Sistina Hospital constantly advocates for attending of educational events and active participation of its nurses, with the aim of exchanging experiences and continuous professional development.
