The International Symposium on Paediatric Liver Diseases and Transplantation was held in Skopje on June 23rd, where top-ranked domestic and foreign experts in the field of organ transplantation and paediatric gastroenterology gave their presentations. The event represented an important platform for exchange of the most recent knowledge, experiences and approaches in the treatment of children in need of liver transplantation.
At the symposium, Ass. Prof. Risto Simeonov, MD, PhD, specialist in paediatric surgery from Acibadem Sistina Hospital, expressed his gratitude to Prof. Hamdi Karakayali, MD, PhD, Supervisor of the Acıbadem University Atakent Hospital Organ Transplant Centre, for the successful long-term cooperation.
