Prof. Igor Kaftandziev, MD, the Medical Director of Acibadem Sistina Hospital and president of the Macedonian branch of this international organization, chaired the AO Trauma Course. Along with many renowned traumatologists and orthopedists, lecturers from Europe, they shared their knowledge through lectures, discussions with the participants and practical application of operative techniques with exercises on bone models, making this course an excellent opportunity for further education and familiarization with the latest surgical techniques.
