The lecture by Josif Gjoreski, MD, a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, and Marinela Vasilevska, PhD, a geneticist, yesterday marked the beginning of a new lecture series intended for parents-to-be at Acibadem Sistina Hospital.

 

The first lecture focused on the topic "Prenatal Genetic Tests and Ultrasound Screening During Pregnancy", highlighting the importance of timely and adequate check-ups and tests during pregnancy.

 

Expectant mothers attended the lecture, gaining insight into the important aspects of pregnancy monitoring and receiving answers to many questions related to this period. An engaging, open discussion followed the presentation, with the expectant mothers actively participating and discussing various topics related to prenatal diagnostics and pregnancy care with the lecturers.

 

The attendees concluded the first meeting of this series with new information, useful advice, and positive impressions, and—as a small token of appreciation—received a gift by Acibadem Sistina BABY.

 

The lecture series continues next Wednesday, September 23, with a session titled "Advice on Healthy Nutrition and Exercise During Pregnancy", led by a nutritionist and a physiatrist. 

 

The lecture series aims to provide parents-to-be useful and practical information about navigating pregnancy more easily and confidently, as well as the opportunity of direct communication with experts in various fields.
