Students from the “Dr. Panche Karagjozov” High School, together with their guests from “Curt Nicolin Gymnasiet” from Finspang, realized an educational visit to the “Acibadem Sistina” Hospital, as part of their cooperation through the Erasmus+ program.

The group was led by Androniki Bibovska, a nurse and technician for education and training, and Magdalena Mitevska, head nurse of the Intensive Care Unit, who enabled the students to get acquainted directly with the modern private healthcare institution functioning.

During the visit, the students had the opportunity to see up close the work organization, modern facilities and state-of-the-art medical technology, as well as the medical staff professional approach. Special emphasis was placed on the latest protocols application in the patients’ treatment and care.

The future nurses and midwives visited the adult Emergency Center, the Surgical Department, the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department, the Dermatovenerology Department, the General Intensive Care Department, as well as the Simulation Room, where practical training for nurses and technicians is carried out.

This visit represents a significant step in their professional development, thus allowing them to connect theoretical knowledge with practical work and gain new experiences in a real clinical environment.

At the meeting, it was agreed to implement a joint project with students from the "Dr. Panche Karagjozov" School in the future, which will further strengthen cooperation and open new opportunities for exchange of knowledge and experiences.
