The second workshop was held in the premises of the Municipality of Karpos as part of a psycho-educational cycle of workshops for teaching staff from municipal primary schools in the Municipality of Karpos, aimed at improving the educational process and creating an inclusive and psychologically stable school environment.

At this workshop, in front of the large number of teachers and professional associates from the Acibadem Sistina Clinical Hospital, lectures were given by Verica Malinkova Dimovska, MD, MSc, a specialist in psychiatry, and Boljetin Zenuni, MD, MSc, a special education teacher.

In her presentation, Verica Malinkova Dimovska MD,MSc addressed the role of the teacher from a psychiatric-psychotherapeutic perspective, mental health among new generations, the psychological burden in the teaching profession, as well as the early recognition of signs of overload. Short practical exercises were also carried out during the workshop.

Boljetin Zenuni, MD, MSc, a special educator and rehabilitator, addressed mental health and specific learning difficulties, their recognition and overcoming, as well as the role of teachers and parents in that process through interactive methods and practical examples for developing strategies for dealing with challenges.

The final third psycho-educational workshop is going to take place next Wednesday and is going to be dedicated to specific strategies for implementing the acquired knowledge in everyday teaching practice. As part of the educational process, participants received a copy of Dr. Kamelija Simeonova's guide, which offers guidelines and tools for successfully dealing with the challenges of working with teenagers.
