The 4th International Nursing Congress was held this weekend in Struga, organized by the Association of Nurses, Technicians, Obstetricians and Dental Nurses of Macedonia (ZMSTAS) and led by ZMSTAS "For Us". This year the Congress motto was: "Education for Influence - Nurses as Pioneers of Progress", stressing the importance of continuous professional development and the role of nurses as leaders and pioneers of positive changes in the healthcare system and society.
The Regional Conference of the European Specialist Nurses Organization (ESNO) was held within the Congress as well, as another recognition of the significance and quality of this event.
Nurses from Acıbadem Sistina Hospital actively participated in the Congress, contributing with their lectures to the sharing of knowledge and experiences. Maja Atanasovska, a specialist in intensive care, lectured on the topic: "Nurses as Pioneers of Progress, Education for Influence"; Maja Aceska, a specialist in scrub nursing, delivered a lecture on the topic: "Aortic Root Enlargement During Aortic Valve Replacement"; while Dana Poptrandova and Silvija Kjeramitchieva, graduated nurses, discussed a common topic: "Empowering Influence through Quality Education".
"Acibadem Sistina" received a Certificate of Appreciation for its support and active participation, that once again confirms the dedication, professionalism and quality of our team.
The Congress is a significant international event that provides exchange of knowledge, experiences and examples of good practice among nurses, technicians and obstetricians from the country and the region, jointly contributing to the improvement of healthcare and professional development.
