The official journal of the Association of Specialist Doctors in Anaesthesia and Resuscitation (ARUD), the Journal of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation Specialist's Society (JARSS) has published the expert papers of our team from Acibadem Sistina Hospital, consisting of the Bachelor in Nursing Specialized in Anaesthesia, Androniki Bibovska, Ivica Dimitrov, MD - Specialist in Anaesthesiology, Reanimation and Intensive Care and Assoc. Prof. Darko Sazdov, MD, PhD — Specialist in Anaesthesiology, Reanimation and Intensive Care.

Our team took participation by giving expert lectures at the Balkan States Anaesthesia Days – IX, which took place April 24-27, 2025 at the International Balkan University in Skopje. The congress was organized by the Association of Specialist Doctors in Anaesthesia and Resuscitation (ARUD), and the topic of this year's event was: Preparedness for Disasters in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.

Lecturers – invitees from Acibadem Sistina Hospital within the scientific programme were:

·         Androniki Bibovska, lecturing on the topic of Risk Assessments and Management in Operating Rooms;

·         Ass. Prof. Darko Sazdov, MD, PhD, lecturing on the topic of Simulation Training and Preparedness of Nurses in Disaster Management.

Journal of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation Specialist's Society (JARSS) is the official scientific journal of ARUD, indexed in TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM TR Dizin, EMBASE, EBSCO (since 2018) and Scopus (since 2002). ARUD has an active collaboration with the Macedonian Society of Anaesthesiologists.

Acibadem Sistina Hospital vigorously invests in the growth and development of its employees. Our nurses and doctors regularly participate in professional events dedicated to exchange of knowledge and experiences, having the purpose of improving the professional practice and increasing preparedness for dealing with any unforeseen situation.
