From 24 to 27 April 2025, the International Balkan University in Skopje hosted a congress organized by the Association of Specialist Doctors in Anesthesia and Resuscitation (ARUD - Balkan States Anesthesia Days – IX. The topic of this year’s congress was “Preparedness for Disasters in Anesthesia and Intensive Care”. As lecturers invited in the scientific programme, our hospital was represented by Androniki Bibovska, education and training nurse, and Darko Sazdov, MD, Specialist in Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care. Androniki gave a lecture on the topic: "Risk Assessment and Management in Operating Rooms", and Dr. Sazdov spoke on the topic: "Simulation Training and Nurses' Preparedness for Disaster Management".
