From October 3 to 6, the 51st October Meetings of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Sanitary Technicians with international participation and organized by the Union of Associations of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Sanitary Technicians of the Republic of Macedonia, were held in Ohrid. Prim. Beti Kostadinovska-Jordanoska, MD, PhD, a specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care, from Acibadem Sistina Hospital gave a lecture titled "The Role of Pancreatic Stone Protein (PSP) as an Infectious Marker in the Early Diagnosis of Sepsis." She highlighted the importance of PSP as a specific biomarker for early sepsis diagnosis, timely treatment, and reducing mortality in these patients.
