Doctors from ACIBADEM SISTINA Hospital participated in the "Microbiome - A Multidisciplinary Puzzle" meeting organized by the Scientific Association of Endocrinologists and the Macedonian Multidisciplinary Association for Human Microbiome.
In the first part of the meeting, Dr. Ivan Trajkov, a specialist in cardiology from the Department of Cardiology, gave a lecture on the topic: "The Microbiome as a New Cardiovascular Risk", and Dr. Nadica Bozhinovska-Dimova, a specialist in endocrinology, spoke about type 2 diabetes mellitus and the microbiome.
The event was led by Prof. Dr. Tatjana Milenkovikj, a specialist in endocrinology, president of the Macedonian Scientific Association of Endocrinologists and Ass. Prof. Dr. Kornelija Trajkova, a specialist in gynecology, who is a member of the Macedonian Multidisciplinary Society for Human Microbiome.
