DOCTORS FROM ACIBADEM SISTINA AT THE PEDIATRIC RESPIRATORY DISEASES 4TH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS

 The 4th International Congress, organized by the Pediatric Respiratory Association (PEDIARES), was held from 24 to 26 April 2026 at the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje. The congress was attended by more than 300 participants from all over the world, who shared their experiences and expert opinions on the diagnosis and treatment of numerous respiratory diseases in children.
Acibadem Sistina Hospital, representatives who took part with their lectures are:
  • Katerina Obochki, MD - specialist in pediatrics - pulmonologist, with the topic: "Atopy, inflammatory biomarkers and FeNO as factors of persistent eosinophilic inflammation in children with asthma in remission"
  • Natasha Chuchkova-Nikchevska, MD - specialist in pediatrics, who moderated one session and gave a lecture on the topic: "Chronic abdominal pain in children: clinical and etiological analysis - a three-year retrospective study"
  • Vesna Brishkoska-Boshkovski, MD, PhD - specialist in dermatovenerology, who also moderated one session and gave a lecture on the topic: "Atopic dermatitis in children: principles of treatment and clinical practice".
The program covered important topics, including: cystic fibrosis, rare diseases, immunodeficiencies, lower respiratory tract infections, atopy and allergies, tuberculosis, as well as intensive care. Such professional gatherings represent a significant contribution to improving medical practice quality, thus enabling the exchange of knowledge, experiences and modern approaches in the treatment of patients.
