Acibadem Sistina Hospital organized an expert otorhinolaryngology section on the topic "State of The Art ENT Clinical Challenges and Innovations ". The event was accredited by the Doctor’s Chamber and was attended by a large number of healthcare professionals, who exchanged knowledge, up to date approaches and clinical experiences in the field of otorhinolaryngology and related disciplines. At the beginning of the expert meeting, Dr.Emilija Mirchevska, Medical Director, gave a welcoming speech, and doctors from the hospital presented their lectures, this covering current and important topics:
• Makedonka Garvanlieva Nikolova, MD, specialist in otorhinolaryngology, gave a lecture on the topic "When the ear hides more than expected - interesting otological cases", presenting complex clinical examples and diagnostic challenges from everyday practice.
• Ass. Prof. Milenko Kostov MD, specialist in neurosurgery, spoke on the topic "Neuronavigation in skull-based surgery: increasing surgical safety and precision", thus emphasizing the importance of state of the art technologies for improving surgical results.
• Tijana Jordanova, MD, general practitioner and a specialist in otorhinolaryngology, addressed the topic "The role of nutritional support after tonsillectomy in children", thus emphasizing the importance of proper nutrition in the postoperative period.
After the lectures, a fruitful discussion was opened, in which those present actively participated, exchanging opinions, experiences and professional opinion. The event represents a significant contribution to continuing medical education and clinical practice advancement in the field of otorhinolaryngology.
