We would like to inform you that Asst. Prof. Dr. Michel Andov,  is a new member of the Department of Endovascular and Vascular Surgery team at the "Acıbadem Sistina" Hospital.

Dr. Andov is a vascular surgeon with significant professional experience in classical vascular surgery, as well as in the endovascular treatment of blood vessel diseases, with a special emphasis on aorta and carotid arteries open treatment.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, and acquired additional education through professional stays in eminent medical centers in Serbia, Croatia, Germany, Greece and Bulgaria. During his 12-year career, he has successfully treated a large number of patients with various vascular diseases. At the same time, he is among the first vascular surgeons who actively participated in the introduction and development of aorta endovascular treatment in our country.

His current professional focus is on carotid arteries treatment in awake patients (using locoregional anesthesia). In addition, he has extensive experience in the treatment of venous diseases, including the classic stripping method for varicose veins, as well as state-of-the-art techniques such as radiofrequency ablation (RFA), endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) and vein treatment with medical glue (vein glue).
