I OWE MY LIFE TO YOU

Dushko is one of many examples confirming that professionalism, immediacy of reaction and multidisciplinary approach save lives. On April 5, Dushko came to Acibadem Sistina Hospital complaining of pain and tingling feeling in his arm, chest pain and shortness of breath. The first analysis showed critical narrowing of the two arteries that required urgent intervention.

Dushko Gjoshevski said that he hadn’t had any health problems until that moment and often went to the doctor’s office. However, there is a first time for everything. While visiting his son in America, he started feeling severe pain in his arms, but he didn’t suspect of a cardiovascular problem. He quickly returned to Macedonia and on the recommendation of his relatives, scheduled an examination at Acibadem Sistina Hospital. 
He arrived at Acibadem Sistina Hospital in a life-threatening condition, with heart attack symptoms.
“I came here literally 2 minutes to 12. The expertise and immediacy of the cardiology team, led by Dr. Oliver Bushletik, saved my life. I am extremely satisfied with the treatment here and I would gladly recommend this hospital to everyone. During the stay I felt like I was in a hotel. The nurses were coming every 5 minutes asking me if I’m doing well. Despite being professionals, the employees here are nice and very polite. You are a unique hospital.” – explains Dushko.
Dr. Oliver Bushletik, who was responsible for Dushko’s treatment, said that after the follow up the patient was feeling well and was stable.
“We admitted Dusko with unstable angina pectoris. We immediately performed a diagnostic coronarography which showed critical narrowing of two arteries. Two stents were successfully inserted with optimal result and the patient was dismissed in a stable general condition. During the regular telephone consultations we do with all our patients after leaving the hospital, Dushko informed us that he was feeling great, was physically active and was already planning his vacation.”- explains Dr. Oliver Bushletik.
