Nadica Bozhinovska-Dimova, MD, specialist in endocrinology at Acibadem Sistina Hospital, took part in the 4th Regional Symposium of Endocrinologists and Diabetologists, an event with international participation, that was held in Bihakj, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 10 to 12 October.
As part of the expert programme, Bozhinovska-Dimova, MD, gave a lecture on the topic: "Case Report of Severe Hyponatremia".
"This is an extremely difficult and rare clinical case of a patient with pronounced electrolyte imbalance, treated and monitored at the Acibadem Sistina Hospital. The case was discovered and processed in collaboration with Kamelija Bushljetikj, MD, specialist in pulmonology, depicting an example of a successful multidisciplinary approach in the diagnosis and treatment of complex endocrine conditions" - says Bozhinovska, MD.
The presentation sparked interest and discussion among the participants from several countries in the region, yet again confirming the importance of sharing clinical experiences and good practices in modern medicine.
