The 52^nd October Meetings of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Sanitary Technicians with international participation were held in the period from October 2 to 5, in Ohrid, organized by the Union of Associations of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Sanitary Technicians of the Republic of Macedonia.

A lecture on the topic "ROTEM SIGMA: Modern Hemostatic Strategy in Multidisciplinary Bleeding Management" was delivered by Prim. Beti Kostadinovska-Jordanoska, MD, PhD, a specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care at Acibadem Sistina Hospital. In her presentation, she emphasized the key role of the ROTEM SIGMA point-of-care technology in the modern management of coagulopathies — from cardiac surgery and traumatology, to intensive care, obstetrics, transplantation and pediatric medicine.

These meetings, attended by many domestic and international experts, as well as representatives from the Balkan associations of medical laboratory technicians and sanitary technicians, constitute an important forum for promoting interdisciplinary cooperation, education and application of modern technologies in the laboratory and clinical practice. The event provided a fruitful exchange of experiences, ideas and scientific achievements, contributing to a continuous development of the profession and improvement of the healthcare quality.
