The most beautiful space journeys can begin with a child’s imagination. This is exactly what Andrea Shengulovska, the little writer who is only nine years old, the same age as her heroine Jana, has proven. Through the main character, Andrea takes us on magical journeys in the space, where dreams become reality and children’s curiosity has no limits.
Andrea is a real little artist. Besides writing, she plays the piano, draws and enjoys telling jokes. She started writing the picture book at the age of 8, initially as a gift for her grandmother, and a year later, Andrea proudly holds the printed version of her work in the hands.
Acıbadem Sistina Hospital recognized Andrea’s talent and supported her children’s work, whose concept of universes and planets is identical to the Department of Pediatrics’ concept that cheers up our children every day. We are honored to be part of this wonderful project. We believe that the book "Jana's Journeys" will delight many children and encourage them to dream, read and discover the power of their imagination.
