“A.S. SLIM BODY CENTER” OFFERS A MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR A HEALTHY LIVING
 
An obesity management center has started operating at Acibadem Sistina Hospital.
It is the “Acibadem Sistina Slim Body Center” as a new concept that includes a detailed, medical and synchronized treatment for patients who have problems with the body weight. The key advantages are that for the first time in the country, the Center offers the opportunity to evaluate the patients’ condition and afterwards to begin the obesity treatment, as the concept is applicable at any age, from children to adults.

“It is an old-new concept, i.e. Acibadem Sistina Hospital has actively managed the obesity as a health problem for several years, but finally it has got a detailed, medically supported and synchronized method of treating the patients who are facing body weight difficulties. A proper evaluation of the patients is done and the best possible method to manage their body weight is implemented. It is an evidence-based medicine, that is, all medical aspects of obesity and its treatment, as well as the treatment of potential complications, are covered”, explains Dr. Nadica Bozhinovska-Dimova, a specialist in endocrinology, who heads this Center.
