Pathologists of Acibadem Sistina Hospital participated in the 30th Seminar on Gynecological Cytology that was held at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad. This seminar is included in the continuous medical education course for cytoscreeners, pathologists and gynecologists, as well as all those involved in cervical cancer prevention.
For the third time in a row, the pathologists are participating in this seminar with topics in the field of gynecological cytology as another proof of the quality of our cytology in the country and the region.
Prof. Dr. Katerina Kubelka-Sabit and Prof. Dr. Dzengis Jashar were invited lecturers from “Acibadem Sistina” at this year’s seminar.
The topics presented by our doctors ranged in the area of early detection of invasive squamous carcinoma of the cervix and the diction of endometrial carcinomas with the routine Pap tests in the female population.
The doctors explain that the pathologist profession is not simple at all, but being recognized by the organizers for their expertise and dedication is the greatest reward for them.
