THE HOSPITAL TEAM READY TO RESPOND IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

Exercising rapid response and successful evacuation in case of emergencies (earthquake and fire) Acibadem Sistina Hospital team managed to meet all the challenges. In coordination with the employees and support by the Firebrigade team, the patients and all people present at the hospital were safely and rapidly evacuated.

Acibadem Sistina Hospital staff, led by the Headquarters for hospital protection and rescue carried out an exercise at the weekend to check the team’s readiness for a rapid and appropriate approach in the event of a crisis that could impair the safety of all people present at the hospital. The exercise included training to deal with the effects of an earthquake, fire fighting practice, evacuation of patients, hospital visitors, employees, as well as injured persons and their transfer to a secure location.
The safety and protection of the staff and the patients is one of the main priorities of Acibadem Sistina Hospital, and the purpose of realizing the action is to make sure that the hospital staff is ready and able to respond during crisis situations of any kind.
The exercise is pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Protection and Rescue and in compliance with the established protocols of response in crisis situations. It was realized in cooperation with the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, the Fire Brigade and the Red Cross.
