„ACIBADEM SISTINA“ EMPLOYEES DONATED 181 UNITS OF BLOOD

„Acibadem Sistina“ Clinical Hospital, in cooperation with the Red Cross Municipal Organization – Karposh and the Institute of Transfusion Medicine, once again organized a successful blood donation campaign. This year the employees donated a record-high number of blood units, 181 in total.

By participating in this blood donation campaign, the employees demonstrated their humanity, generosity and solidarity. The Chief Executive Officer of „Acibadem Sistina“ Clinical Hospital and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Jordan Kamcev participated in the campaign as well.
“I am proud that „Acibadem Sistina“ has continued the tradition of the blood donation campaign this year as well and that we have once again had the opportunity to demonstrate our humanity by donating more than 181 units of blood. Knowing that you saved someone’s life, a feeling with which every blood donor is very familiar, is priceless and that actually is our main motivation behind regularly organizing this blood donation campaign. I am very happy that we have the opportunity to be a part of this and similar campaigns and I hope that this will serve as an inspiration for the public to demonstrate their humanity and save lives as well.” – says Mr. Jordan Kamcev.
So far, „Acibadem Sistina“ has been regularly organizing blood donation campaigns once a year which have been massively supported by its employees. Last year, the employees donated more than 160 units of blood and this year’s campaign was extremely successful as well. From this year on, aiming at saving even more lives by donating blood, this campaign is projected to take place biannually.
