BOROZAN AFTER THE SURGERY: YOU COME AT AND LEAVE “ACIBADEM SISTINA” WITH A SMILE

Vuko Borozan, one of the best players of the handball club “Vardar” has been successfully treated at “Acibadem Sistina” Hospital. Montenegrin athlete put an end to the injury that caused him great problems during his career. An intervention of the left knee was performed; it was a severe and rare injury that the professional team of doctors from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology realized successfully. The surgery was performed by Dr. Mihailo Ivanovski, Dr. Borislav Ilievski and Dr. Mirjana Petrovska.

– The intervention has been delayed since we thought he would play in the Champions League till the end, but unfortunately his knee was blocked before the match with Barcelona. And there was no time to wait.
It was a cartilage injury. Four pieces of the broken cartilage blocked the knee. The injury was accompanied by severe pain and inability to move. Now a period of rehabilitation in two to three months follows, and then he could return to the field at full spead, says Dr. Mihailo Ivanovski.
Borozan notes his great experience with Acibadem Sistina Hospital. In September his wife Iva gave birth and brought their daughter Talia to the world. The Montenegrin athlete is pleased with the treatment by all staff at the hospital; he says “you come at and leave with a smile”.
– I am very pleased by doctor Mihailo Ivanovski who earned the trust of the “Vardar” team. We have detected the injury in August, but decided to withstand until December 3rd, while the Champions League lasts. The plan was to make the intervention during the break so that I could return to the second part of the season, but it did not happen according to the plan, says Borozan.
In just ten days, three successful athletes in Macedonia decided to treat their injuries at “Acibadem Sistina” Hospital. All of them are unanimous that this team of doctors is the best and most professional in the region.
