THIS YEAR, OVER 300 BLOOD UNITS COLLECTED IN “ACIBADEM SISTINA” BLOOD DONATION

Due to the great interest and response in the Clinical Hospital “Acibadem Sistina” for the fourth time this year another blood donation was successfully realized. This time as well, the blood donation was carried out together with the Red Cross-Karposh municipal organization and the Institute for Transfusion Medicine.

At this blood donation, the Clinical Hospital “Acibadem Sistina” employee’s humanity was once again shown and proven, because in the acting circumstances with protection against the coronavirus, the blood donors selflessly responded in large numbers and donated 42 more blood units.
 
In total, more than 300 blood units have been donated this year in the four blood donations. During the blood donation campaign, all measures and safety protocols for complete protection against the SARS-CoV-2 virus were observed.
 
Blood donors were divided into groups in order to maintain physical distance and were required to wear personal face protection, a protective mask. In the previous blood donations, in addition to the “Acibadem Sistina”, employees, the “Orka Holding” employees also gave their contribution by donating blood.
