From May 21 to 24, the Second Congress of the Association of Slovenian Dermatovenereologists was held in Portoroz, Slovenia – a significant international event that brought together prominent experts, specialists and professionals in the field of dermatovenereology from the region and beyond. On this congress, an active participation took dr. Andrej Petrov, with his expert lecture “Combination of radiofrequency microneedles and intense pulsed light (IPS) in the treatment for tightening and brightening as an alternative to surgical facelift” that was presented to the attendees, was actually dedicated to modern non-invasive aesthetic treatments and their application in skin rejuvenation and regeneration.

The Congress offered a prolific scientific and educational program, with numerous lectures, discussions and exchange of professional experiences from various fields of dermatovenereology, aesthetic dermatology and the skin diseases treatment. The event represented an excellent opportunity to connect and promote cooperation among dermatovenereologists from the region, as well as to follow the latest global achievements and innovations in this medical field.
