"ACIBADEM SISTINA" DOCTORS PARTICIPATED IN THE "GUIDELINES IN PRACTICE" INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM

Doctors from the Departments of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Acıbadem Sistina Hospital took an active part in the "Guidelines in Practice”, international symposium focused on the practical and multidisciplinary approach to the modern treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

The symposium covered current topics in the field of:

• schemic coronary disease,

• valvular heart disease,

• innovations in cardiology, cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery and interventional procedures.

 Dimitar Dushkoski, MD, cardiologist gave an expert lecture on the topic "Ischemic Cardiomyopathy and Structural Heart Defect - Case Report", while Zharko Hristovski, MD, PhD moderated the session dedicated to severe valvular cases, where complex clinical scenarios and treatment approaches were discussed.
 Continuous medical education is the key element for achieving upmost results in cardiovascular medicine. Through such educational events, participants gain access to the latest evidence-based practices, shared by leading European experts, which directly contributes to improving diagnostics and making precise and efficient therapeutic decisions in everyday clinical practice.
