THE MACEDONAN GOALKEEPER DEJAN ILIEV SUCCESFULLY OPERATED IN ACIBADEM SISTINA HOSPITAL
The Macedonian goalkeeper Dejan Iliev expects to return to the football field quickly, after being successfully operated at Acibadem Sistina Hospital. He had a problem with his left knee, i.e. a meniscus injury, so after consulting Dr. Mihajlo Ivanovski, a traumatology specialist at Acibadem Sistina, the intervention was performed. Dejan Iliev, the Macedonian goalkeeper, is an English first league Arsenal player and currently he is playing for the Slovak club “Sered”.
“I am very pleased and I hope to start playing soon. I slipped and injured during training. I decided on Dr. Ivanovski because many fellow athletes have a positive experience with him and I consider him a great professional. He has helped many athletes. That proved to be true in my case as well. I thank him very much,” said the goalkeeper Iliev.
Dr. Ivanovski says that for them as doctors it is still a great obligation that athletes of this rank and famous clubs give confidence to be operated in Acibadem Sistina Hospital.
“Dejan is going to be able to dedicate himself to sport to the maximum and there is going to be no problem. This is an arthroscopic routine intervention. It is expected Dejan to return to the field soon, and from tomorrow he is going to start with physical rehabilitation. “In three to four weeks he is going to start training again,” stated Dr. Ivanovski.
