The complex nature of autoimmune diseases is revealed by an algorithmic approach. Experienced specialists using sophisticated tools (numerous autoantibodies tests and the most advanced methods of CT, MRI, PET) provided by the diagnostic laboratories, ensure timely clarification of the most complex cases and enable optimal start of an appropriate treatment.

The focus of the Department of Rheumatology is on the systemic connective tissue disorders: systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), poly-dermatomyositis (PM/DM), systemic sclerosis, diverse group of disorders – vasculitis and many other autoaggressive entities labelled as autoimmune diseases.
