BIOCHEMICAL LABORATORY

Concept and organization of the Biochemical Laboratory have been established in 2001 for requirements of the “Mala Bogorodica” Hospital, and it has been continuously developed and upgraded within the Department of Diagnostic Laboratories at Acibadem Sistina Hospital.

Having state-of-the-art instruments from world-renowned producers at its disposal, the Biochemical Laboratory provides a wide range of routine and specialized laboratory analyses that are made in samples of blood, urine and other body fluids to meet the needs of outpatients and inpatients of the Hospital.

Methods used at the Biochemical Laboratory are accredited by MKC EN ISO 15189: 2013 standard.

Its professional team undertakes activities for daily participation in programs of inter-laboratory comparison of quality control for all analyses, as well as in external EQAS quality control programs, thus ensuring reliability and safety for each issued result, in accordance with the requirements of MKC EN ISO 15189: 2013 standard.
