My problems began when I was 64. I retired and decided to spend the best years of my life calmly and peacefully with my family. In just three months I lost 17 kilograms, and none of the doctors could reveal the reason for mysudden weight loss. I searched for a solution at many clinics,from hematology, radiology tooncology. Each day I felt more and more pain, I couldn’t evenmove. So, while Isearched for a diagnosis and when the doctors gave up, I decided to organize my funeral, which I expected to happen soon. On December 5 I came at the Clinical Hospital “Acibadem Sistina” for a colonoscopy examination at the prof. Dr. Vasko Vasilevski, who immediately diagnosed a foreign body in my colon. Before they told me what it was, I begged the doctors to tell me my diagnosis regardless of whether it is cancer or not. Prof. Dr. Vasilevski explained that I have a toothpick in my colon. The next day Dr. Allen Jovchevski performed the surgery and I couldn’t believe the upturn that happened in my life. The toothpick had brought me to the edge of my life, made ​​me think that the end had come. Since then, my second birthday is on December 5, the day when I was born again. There are no words to express my gratitude to prof. Dr. Vasilevski, Dr. Jovchevski and the entire team at the hospital. My life changed after they foundthe toothpick. You were with me all the way; I will forever be grateful for extending my life and taking care of me.
